Zoom out of Triangulum Galaxy, Hubble image - HD Stock-Video
Rotating zoom out of a Hubble Space Telescope image of the Triangulum Galaxy (M33), a nearby spiral galaxy some 2.73 million light years from Earth. This image is made up of 54 Hubble fields of view, making it the highest resolution image of M33 ever taken. The image resolves nearly 25 million stars, and covers an area over 19,000 light years across. M33 is part of the Local Group of galaxies, dominated by the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) and our Milky Way. M33 is the smallest of the three, with a tenth of the Milky Way's stars. It is thought it is gravitationally bound to the even larger Andromeda Galaxy, having interacted with it several billion years ago, with a direct collision likely in around 2.5 billion years. This image was captured between February 2017 and February 2018, and released in January 2019
