The exhibition presents TBA21–Academy’s long-term work in Jamaica, weaving together marine conservation, regenerative development, and artistic production. Through immersive installations and soundscapes, it explores the intersections of sound, conservation, and ecology, with a focus on Jamaica’s East Portland Fish Sanctuary. The installation invites reflection on the relationship between humans and the ocean, emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship and community engagement. The 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale, titled Intelligens – Natural. Artificial. Collective., curated by Carlo Ratti, opens to the press ahead of the public opening on May 10 and will run until November 23, 2025. This edition explores how architecture can harness natural, artificial, and collective intelligence to address global challenges such as climate change and urban transformation.
