Melting glaciers menace Colombia's water

REFILE OF VIDEO ORIGINALLY FILED JULY 17, 2007: The glaciers in the Andes range of South America are melting, victims of global warming. ThereÕs particular worry about the 22 peaks which make up the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy some 400 kilometres north-east of the Colombian capital Bogota. In the past 150 years the area covered by glaciers has shrunk from 150 square kilometres to 16. At this rate the mountains will be bare by 2025. A voiced report from the Ritak'Uwa Negra glacier.
