Al Green Reads Out Fourth Article Impeaching President Trump

Texas Congressman Al Green reads article 4 of a proposed impeachment resolution against President Donald Trump, accusing Trump of being unmindful of the high duties of the office and of the dignities and proprieties thereof by betraying his trust in office, bringing shame and dishonor to the office by encouraging law-enforcement officials to violate the constitutional rights of suspects in their custody and control, citing a July 2017 speech to the Suffolk County Police Department on Long Island, New York that suspects be treated rough being thrown into a paddy wagon. Green quotes the oath of office to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, but Trump had undermined the integrity of the office, brought disrepute on the presidency and betrayed his trust as president to the manifest injury of the people, warranting impeachment, trial and removal from office or disqualification from any office of high honor, trust or profit. Having concluded his notice to the house of the intention to raise the question of privilege, Speaker Pro Tempore Trent Franks reads out the postponed consideration under the rules.
