Street vendors rally in Times Square demanding permits to legally sell on the street of New York City / Street Vendor Project (SVP) is a worker center founded in 2001 to organize the diverse community of workers, self-employed people and small business owners who make their living on the streets and sidewalks of New York City. The Street Vendor Project helps vendors by advocating and organizing them to push for better treatment through the Urban Justice Center.
