Congresswoman Hinson contrasts Iowa reopened schools with virtual learning difficulties amid pandemic

Iowa Congresswoman Ashley Hinson says in House debate on a procedural measure that Iowa and Governor Kim Reynolds had ensured Iowa's students go go back to school to socialize with peers and get hands-on learning from teachers, able to run and jump at recess, raising us to ask and answer questions instead of clicking a button from behind the screen but not the case for the rest of the country where students were still trapped behind computer screens in households where mom and dad are also trying to use computers for work, virtual learning leaving behind the most vulnerable students including rural students with additional learning challenges, families and working parents struggling and challenged like never before.
