'I Can't Believe This': Curious Black Bear Steals Golf Club Bag

A curious black bear has gone viral after having a run-in with golf players and stealing a bag of clubs from their golf cart in Coquitlam, British Columbia, on July 31. Video by Karim Lalani shows the players laughing in disbelief as the bear bites a hole in their bag of gear, before dragging it off into the nearby bushes with the clubs tumbling out onto the course. Lalani told Storyful they were waiting to tee off on the 12th hole at Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club when they noticed a bear sniffing around the golf cart of the group in front of them. "Pretty soon it was tearing into the bag of one of those players. When the player tried to chase it the bear pulled the whole bag into the bushes to go through it in peace," Lalani said. "A few moments later it came back out with a little cub in tow. These bears are usually not aggressive but it may have been looking for food for the young one."
