Ozawa To Conduct Operetta ”'Die Fledermaus” In Kyoto Next February

KYOTO, JAPAN – NOV. 18: Conductor Seiji Ozawa held a press conference on Wednesday November 18 at ROHM Theater Kyoto, scheduled to open next January, and announced he will conduct the comic opera "Die Fledermaus" on February 18 and 20 next year. The performance will be part of the "Seiji Ozawa Music Academy Opera Project", which aims to cultivate young musicians. Besides Kyoto, it will also be performed at the Aichi Prefectural Arts Theatre on February 24, then at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan on February 27.
