NEW YORK, NY - APRIL 01, 2017: Black Lives Matter Activists gathered in Herald Square – 34th Street and held an Anti - Donald Trump and an Anti - New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio protest titled “Black Lives Matter! End Trump and De Blasio’s War on Black People”/ The group protested the deaths suffered by the black population and also demanded an end to the NYPD (New York City Police Department) / They marched from Union Square to 34th St. Herald Square and ended with at the doorsteps of the Whitney Museum of American Art in Chelsea / Manhattan, New York City, USA. NOTE: Protesters stand on the door steps of the Whitney Museum of American Art in downtown Manhattan – Chelsea vicinity. The museum refuses to remove a white artist’s painting of Emmett Till. Emmett Louis Till (July 25, 1941 – August 28, 1955) was an African-American teenager who was lynched in Mississippi at the age of 14 after being falsely accused of flirting with a white woman.
