Former Acting DHS Secretary says enforcing immigration law is in no way, shape or form fascism at Senate hearing

America First Policy Institute Homeland Security and Immigration Center Chair Chad Wolf says in prepared testimony at a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution hearing on political violence that to state it as plainly as he could, enforcing immigration laws passed by Congress almost 60 years ago was in no way shape or form fascism, and every sovereign nation had a right to choose who was allowed to legally enter the country, and throwing around words like fascist and Nazi not only cheapened history but it fueled increasing hostility towards law enforcement, journalists and ordinary citizens, and the rise in political environment violence presented a grave threat to their constitutional order and rule of law, and the federal government had a duty and a responsibility to respond, and they must continue to give law enforcement the tools and the resources they needed.
