German Bomber Salvage Attempt

RAMSGATE, ENGLAND - JUNE 11: A salvage worker inspects the inside of a World War II Dornier 17 aircraft in Ramsgate harbour on June 11, 2013 in Ramsgate, England. The salvage operation, planned through the RAF Museum, lifted the only remaining German bomber Dornier 17, used during the 'Battle of Britain' of 1940 from the sea on June 10, 2013.. The plane is believed to be aircraft call-sign 5K-AR, shot down on August 26, 1940 at the height of the battle by RAF Boulton-Paul Defiant fighters.
