People attend St Patricks day celebrations in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on March 17, 2008. Hundreds of thousands of revellers throughout Ireland were gathering Monday for celebrations to mark the annual Saint Patrick's Day national holiday. The biggest parade is in Dublin, where a 3,000-strong parade will snake its way through the city centre, bolstered by 16 marching bands from countries including Ireland, Japan, Italy and the United States.
