CANADA - MAY 16: One of three buffalo calves born a week ago at Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area stays close to its wary mother. Herd now numbers 17. It was started 13 years ago with a shipment of a bull and four cows from Elk Island National Park in Alberta. Another seven buffalo are kept by Halton Region Conservation Authority at Mountsberg Wildlife Centre near Campbellville. Rattlesnake Point herd is kept in a 70-acre compound.
