Los Angeles, UNITED STATES: A visitors views some of the most famous works by Belgian surrealist Rene Magritte (1898-1967) including "Ceci N'est Pas Une Pipe" ("This Is Not A Pipe") (R), at the preview of "Magritte and Contemporary Art: The Treachery of Images" at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), 15 November 2006 in California. The show, which features 68 works by Magritte and 68 works by contemporary artists who are influenced by Magritte, is the first major exhibition to explore Magritte's imapct on contemporary artists. The exhbition installation is specially designed to feature an inventive presentation which includes clouds on the floor, freeways on the ceiling and gallery guards dress in bowler hats and black suits.
