DENVER, CO, AUGUST 26, 2003 - Executive chef Randy<cq> Reynolds, right,<cq> and assistant Mika<cq> Wenger<cq> from Gumbo's Louisiana Style Cafe<cq> in Denver, hopes 500 lbs. of live crawfish from New Orleans show up at his door at 1530 16th Street on Friday morning. The crawfish will be escorted alive to A Taste of Colorado in Civic Center Park where they will become the very yummy Blackened Voodoo Live Crawfish Boil. And if folks aren't sure how to go about eating the little critters, Reynolds offers a piece of advice, " After removing the shell, just eat the tail, and suck the head." A tast of Colorado runs Saturday, August 30-Monday, September 1 and will feature a sampling from over 50 restaurants. Admission is free.
