Senator McConnell calls out press for rush to judgment over Covington Catholic incident

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky says because of startling death threats against students of Covington Catholic High School was closed the day before, unclear when any sense of normalcy might return after an incident after the March for Life abortion protest, families of his home state and paid the price for exercising First Amendment freedoms but sadly the fact free rush to judgment had become an all too often occurrence, hoping the media learns that when the rush to headlines takes precedence over facts mistakes are made and rights are put at risk, a particularly troubling trend when young people are involved.
