Volunteer teachers, students produce face masks, shields across Turkey

In Turkey's largest Istanbul metropolis a high school students are producing 3D-printed face shields. Many volunteer teachers, students, and employees are working on producing masks and disinfectants in Turkey's Mersin, Kirikkale, Kirsehir, Istanbul, Eskisehir, Tekirdag provinces. On Friday, Turkey confirmed 126 more deaths from the coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 1,769. The novel coronavirus has spread to 185 countries and regions since emerging in China last December, with the U.S. and Europe now the hardest-hit areas in the world. Worldwide, there are over 2.21 million cases of coronavirus with over 151,000 reported deaths.
