Albert Einstein Signing Autograph

Professor Albert Einstein, father of the theory of relativity and distinguished German scientist, arrived in Havana, Cuba to get a taste of tropical sunshine on his way to California by way of the Panama Canal. He was greeted by a delegation of prominent Cuban scientists and engineers as well as representatives of the government. The above photo shows the noted scientist autographing a book for one of the Cuban officials.
