Dubai is the largest and most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and capital of the Emirate of Dubai. Dubai is situated on the Persian Gulf coast of the United Arab Emirates. The emirate of Dubai shares borders with Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Sultanate of Oman. Dubai is a city built in the desert. Dubai will host World Expo 2020. The Emirate's Western-style model of business drives its economy with the main revenues now coming from tourism, aviation, real estate, and financial services.
