CAMP ARIFJAN, KUWAIT: TO GO WITH STORY BY STEVE KIRBY US National Guard soldiers Sgt. Ian Bodrov (R) and Staff Sgt. Norm Betron (L) of the 257 Transportation Company from Las Vegas, NV, enter data on a hand-held computers as part of a health and welfare class, 28 February, 2004, at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait. The three hour class, which covers finances, personal, family and health issues, is mandatory for soldiers returning home as part of the redeployment of troops out of Iraq. The hand-held computers are a new tool for the Army, which says retention of data with the computers is much higher compared to using traditional paper forms.
