King Philip Visits The Beringen And Tessenderlo Vaccination Center

BERINGEN, BELGIUM - JUNE 01: King Philippe of Belgium visits the Beringen and Tessenderlo Covid-19 vaccination center, which is housed in the power plant of the former coal mine (be-MINE), on June 01, 2021 in Beringen, Belgium. The facility has a maximum capacity of 1800 vaccinations per day. King Philippe is informed by various staff members and volunteers about the progress of the ongoing vaccination campaign and how it affects the number of hospital admissions. King Philippe visits the pharmacy and meets with on the spot vaccinated citizens in the waiting room of the center. This visit is in line with the King's wish to make the public aware of the importance of vaccination and comes a few days after similar visits to the vaccination centers in Schaerbeek and Bierset.
