Mayors And Young Climate Activists Holds Joint Press Conference At The C40 World Mayors Summit in Copenhagen

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK OCTOBER 11: Hilda Flavia Nakabuye, climate activists within the Fridays for Future movement, Uganda, during the Mayors and Youth Activist press conference at the C40 World Mayors Summit on October 11, 2019 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The young activist from Uganda gave a powerful and emotional speech and broke into tears. Her speech caused great appluas from the tightly packed press room. During the press conference young activist explained what they expect of the grown-up politicians. More than 90 mayors of some of the worlds largest and most influential cities representing some 700 million people meet in Copenhagen from October 9-12 for the C40 World Mayors Summit. The purpose with the summit in Copenhagen is to build a global coalition of leading cities, businesses and citizens that rallies around radical and ambitious climate action.
