The building housing the launcher backs up on rails to free it. The two monumental chimneys for extracting the steam produced during take-off. 18m high! A deluge of water from a dedicated water tower (the nearby cylindrical tower) is sprayed at the outlet of the reactor to fix the toxic and abrasive particles of combustion smoke at the bottom of the tank.
