Colorado Bureau of Investigation crime scene investigators measure the area where two burglary suspects were shot and killed by law enforcement officers after an automobile chase late Wednesday night on eastbound I-70 just past exit 256 near the South Lookout Mountain Rd and Cabrini Shrine. The Clear Creek County burglary suspects were chased by state patrol and were tactically run off the road after running over "stop sticks" and blowing out their tires beneath the exit. One suspect brandished a gun when officers opened fire, killing both driver and passenger of the car. No law enforcement officers were injured.
