(Original Caption) At Steen, one of the colleries at the village of Gwam-cae-gw[...]en in Glamorgan, the new red brick baths, that cost ?30,000 to build have just been completed. There have been persistant disputes between the men and the management and now it looks as it the baths will never be used. At first the men were banned from using the baths - regardless of the fact that many of them had miles to travel home in the evenings, and then often only to a hip bath which would need many buckets to fill it, and now the pit is to be closed.
