As spectacular as the high peaks may be, the mountain lakes are equally attractive destinations. On clear and sunny summer days, the sky and the surrounding hills beautifully reflect in their water. And if your feet should feel too hot after a long hike, upon taking off your shoes the lakes provide an excellent refreshment.
