RODEZ, FRANCE - APRIL 11: The Pierre Soulages museum on April 11, 2014 in Rodez, France.The Soulages Museum in Rodez is due to open in May 2014. The Museum is dedicated to the work of the French painter, sculptor and angraver Pierre Soulages (born in 1919), and over 500 works and documents will be displayed. In 2005, Pierre Soulages and this wife Colette donated many pieces of art to Rodez. Soulages has carved a famous style, working almost exclusively in black or "outrenoir"(beyond black).
