MAR 21 1987 Spring Gold Fever The icy waters of Clear Creek swirled around Jim Brown's gold pan Friday as he looked for that first glitter amongst the heavy black silt. Brown and three of his buddies from Coors are sure the gold business is their calling. They bought a dredge and started trying it out, without knowing much about the gold business, when oldtimer Dee Archuleta, back left, took pity on them and took them out today to learn the business from the ground up, starting with panning.
