Team Members Train For The Invictus Games

LONDON, ENGLAND - APRIL 26: Petty Officer Sean Gaffney is a member of the UK's 2016 Invictus Games team and takes part in challenge events with his sister Kerry (40), who he is training with in Walpole Park, Ealing on April 26, 2016 in London, England. Sean (45), from Somerset serves in the Royal Navy and is competing in Athletics, Powerlifting, Rowing and cycling. He has a below-the-knee left leg amputation after being injured while training for the final Field Gun race in 1999. He first started running when his sister Kerry signed them up for a 10k run in 2007. Since then Sean and Kerry have taken part in obstacle challenges every year, including Grim8, Total Warrior, the London Marathon and Tough Guy - where Sean was the first amputee to ever complete the race.The Invictus Games 2016 are being held in Orlando, Florida at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from 8 to 12 May 2016. The Games are the international adaptive sporting event for wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women, both serving and veteran.
