Members of Living History Society acting as Philippine and Japanese soldiers reenact a scene of the "battle of the pockets" where Philippine-US and Japanese soldiers fought fiercely to take control of the town during World War II at a memorial ceremony to remember fallen heroes of the Second World War in Balanga City, Bataan province, north of Manila on April 8, 2015, a day prior to the Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) memorial services. The ceremony was held as part of the week-long commemoration dubbed "veterans week" and 70th anniversary of Philippine liberation.
