Nairobi over the past decade has earned the nickname 'Silicon Sahara' for its entrepreneurial prowess and growing culture of innovation and research. The DEMO Africa conference takes place from October 24 to 26 and provides a platform for start-ups from across Africa to pitch for growth capital and strategic partnerships, with the aim of developing the companies' ability to compete with tech startups across the globe.
