Ivory Coast's former first lady Simone Gbagbo (C) sits in court at the Court of Justice in Abidjan, on Fevuary 23, 2015 for her trial along with others for "attempting to undermine the security of the state" in events leading to a bloody 2010-2011 post electoral crisis that left thousands dead. Gbagbo, who has been held for three years and is also wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes against humanity, is accused with 82 others in this trial viewed as the biggest judicial challenge faced by the post-crisis government of the west African nation. Gbagbo's husband, former president Laurent Gbagbo, who is currently in custody in the Hague, faces four counts of crimes against humanity.
