Indian activists take part in a play in front of a mural depicting fictional character Priya, who is a rape survivor, sitting on a tiger before a march starts in New Delhi on December 15, 2104. The march was organised by the Apne Aap Women Worldwide NGO in memory of 'Nirbhaya', the symbolic name given to the victim of a gang-rape in 2012, on the eve of the anniversary of the attack. The character, a rape survivor who rides a tiger and receives her powers from Hindu goddess Parvati, was launched to fight sexual violence in a country where rapes are reported on a daily basis.
