A high-voltage cable fell on a float during a Carnival parade in Port-au-Prince early Tuesday, killing at least 15 people as thousands watched, emergency officials said. Dozens more were injured in the accident, which occurred at around 2:48 am (0748 GMT) on the second day of Carnival, Communications Minister Rotchild Francois said in a statement.
