West End neighborhood portrait

PORTLAND, ME - AUGUST 19: R.J. Condon, 27 years old, 207-274-8478. Photographed and lives on Spring Street. Lived there for 2 years. Hometown in Cape Cod, MA. Graphic designer/ MECA Student. Moved here after a cross country road trip with his girlfriend, knew they liked Maine but didn't have any particular driving force like a new job bringing them here. Looked for "a solid month" to find the apartment they ended up living in, weren't exclusively looking in the West End Wednesday, August 18, 2015. Aren't necessarily looking to leave the neighborhood because of the West End, but are considering towns outside Portland like Yarmouth in order to "be closer to the woods" and get out of the city.
