The Scout Movement Announce New Badges

LONDON, ENGLAND - MAY 15: A Beavers 'Health and Fitness' Activity Badge on May 15, 2014 in London, England. The Scout Movement have recently announced a range of new badges for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts covering a wide variety of new skills and abilities including photography, gardening, camping, Space awareness, Disability Awareness and fundraising. There are currently around 200 badges to be earned across a range of activities within the Beaver, Cub Scout and Adventure Scout organization. The scout movement was founded in 1907 by Lord Baden-Powell at a camp on Brownsea Island in Poole, Dorset. Today there are believed to around 28 Million Scouts worldwide.
