Organizations On High Alert For Child Trafficking In Wake Of Nepal Earthquake

After the devastating magnitude 7.8 earthquake of April 25, entire villages were destroyed and hundreds of thousands of people were made homeless and children orphaned. Some of these remote areas have long been targeted by human-traffickers seeking young women and girls and the current situation has significantly increased the risk to women and children.
